Very nice, thanks for posting. The only thing that occurs to me is, there's a couple words in there that may not, in and of themselves, be derogatory, they're just extremely annoying when falsely applied to us.

The big one, something I'm really trying to train myself to speak differently about: transvestite. Believe me, I know how annoying it is to be labelled a transvestite, a crossdresser, or a drag queen. That's not what I am, and it can be infuriating to be mislabeled.

But that doesn't mean that it's bad to be one. I know that I've often, when describing what I'm not used words like, "Just a crossdresser" or "Justa transvestite" or "Just a drag queen." But then I thought: that's really kind of rude of me. If there were a transvestite standing next to me when I said that, how would that person feel?

Transvestites are perfectly OK by me. I'm just not one of them.

Well, just food for thought.
